Wiz Wham Alakazam!

Our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils took to the stage to present their fantastic production of Wiz Wham Alakazam, and what a truly magical performance it was!

After performing to the rest of the school yesterday, the children wowed parents and carers with a confident and polished performance this morning.

Set inside the vibrant and bustling Sun Castle, the story follows a community of wizards who, despite their differences, live and work together in harmony! When disaster strikes and the sun suddenly disappears, mysterious Ice Creatures begin to emerge, and the wizards are faced with a challenge that will test their courage, cooperation and understanding.

Through their energetic acting, clear storytelling and enthusiastic singing, the children brought this imaginative tale to life. The audience was treated to several lively and engaging songs, performed with confidence and joy, showcasing the pupils’ growing talents.

Beyond the magic and adventure, the production carried an important message. It explored themes such as teamwork, celebrating differences, self-worth and the importance of listening to one another. The children did a wonderful job of conveying these ideas, reminding us all that everyone has a valuable role to play.

Speaking after the performance, Mrs Dolby praised the pupils’ efforts, saying, “We are so proud of every single child. Their confidence has grown tremendously throughout rehearsals, and they really supported one another as a team. It’s been wonderful to see them bring this story to life.”

Principal Miss King also shared her delight, commenting, “This was a truly joyful performance. The children demonstrated not only fantastic talent, but also a deep understanding of the important values at the heart of the production. They should all feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”

We are incredibly proud of all the pupils involved. Their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm shone through in every scene. A huge well done to all in Lower Key Stage 2 for such a memorable and magical show!
