We Show Our Support On National Day Of Reflection

At Pilgrim Academy we joined in a minute’s silence at noon today to show support for the millions of people who have been bereaved by the Coronavirus pandemic around the world.

To commemorate National Day of Reflection, the children in Orion, Indus and Nursery created beautiful flowers to symbolise new beginnings and hope for better times to come.

Tucana empathetically discussed the effects of the past year and then enjoyed designing their own flower to symbolise a brighter future.

Cygnus made blossom trees, just like the one in our car park, out of real twigs and tissue paper. They made us feel like spring has arrived in our classroom!
