The Joke Was On Us For Comic Relief Day

Isabella Hyke was the winner of our Comic Relief Day Joke Competition.

Well done to our 10 competitors who took part in the Pilgrim Academy Joke Competition, as part of Comic Relief Day. Everyone bravely told their joke to the rest of the school, via Teams. A panel of four judges chose the three winners, who all received a new book, with the outright winner also receiving a box of chocolates.

Third place went to Daisy Walker in Columba; second place went to Grace Elliott in Indus; and the winner was Isabella Hyke from Phoenix! 

An extra special mention for Isabella, as her first reaction was to say that she was going to share her prize with her class! Isabella’s joke: ‘What do you call a bear with no teeth?’ A gummy bear! Thank to you everyone who made a donation.
